Integrating Data Insight With Enterprise Vault
Hello, I am attempting to integrate Data Insight with Enterprise Vault. On the Data Insight server I: Click on Settings. Click on Data Mangement. Enter the IP address of the EV server. I had used port 443 but I was having issues connecting the the EV server. Can you confirm that the port is 443? Cheers Cameron Mottus
DQL Report does not output to 1 file 5.0.1
I am using DI 5.0.1 and I am not able to have the DQL report to output to 1 single file. Is anyone else having this issue? I have a DQL query and when I am pulling some of the AD Attributes, it will separate the files. I even have put 'format user AS csv' at the end and it still puts it into multiple files. From user get name, principal_name, login, Home_directory, Department If Home_Directory not in ('nowhere') format user AS CSV; Please help!

Hello crew, I am wondering if this is possible at all to make Data Insight spit out a list of all the files a user has access to. The example: An employee is terminated so I want to submit a form that queries Data Insight and generates a listing of all the files I have permission to. Doable?
Need help creating a DQL report.
I have no idea how to write a DQL report. Does anyone know if there is a spot to go to to get reports that others have written? If not how would I pull a report like this I need to sort and calculate by inferred ownership. We would like to see the full path for the files they own. We want to see the file size,and be able to filter the report by Last Accessed date so that we can see files that are say 5 years old or older on the last access date. How do I look for a specific file? Ie what’s the field for “filename” ? I have a potential opportunity for Data Insight with a focus around leveraging the Data Insight Query Language and am looking for additional help. I am starting to look at the Data Insight SDK guide to understand things but have one quick question (and perhaps many more difficult ones) The first question is, can I create variables/tokens within the syntax of the DQL and pass it through the Data Insight Report builder or do I have to leverage an outside process and call the SDK somehow? So the example is to query the Data Insight data for all shares with a specific name in it. Would I be able to token this within the Data Insight UI so each time the report ran it prompted me for the value or would I have to create separate form to pass this into the query? I am still gathering new information and will update this post when that is available.
DQL: Sum the Sum of Total Access, Exporting Dashboards
Is there a way to use DQL to demonstrate the sum of the sum of total access for sites? For example, you can generate reports to showthe number of people with access levels ofcreate, read, write, and delete per site, but can you also demonstrate that total per person? We are looking to determine an individual's level of access to each site monitored by DI, summed per level of access. In addition to this, can you export the graphs and dashboards generated to Excel? You can save the raw data in table format, but the graphs would also be helpful. Thanks! Evan
