Call Detail Record (CDR)
Hi there, has anyone of you had some experience with CDR's. CDR's are Telco style data sets, which describe calls placed by a customer.A call detail record containsmetadata– containingdata fieldsthat describe a specific instance of a telecommunication transaction, but does not include the content of that transaction, according to Wikipedia. Depending (on the noof fields captured)on the telco's definition, these files could be smaller or bigger. They are mostly zipped. I am yet to understand a bit more about it, but the questions is can Di be used to reduce the amount of primiary storage consumed here. Any comments/pointers will be appreciated. I am using DI 5.0.1 and I am not able to have the DQL report to output to 1 single file. Is anyone else having this issue? I have a DQL query and when I am pulling some of the AD Attributes, it will separate the files. I even have put 'format user AS csv' at the end and it still puts it into multiple files. From user get name, principal_name, login, Home_directory, Department If Home_Directory not in ('nowhere') format user AS CSV; Please help!3.2KViews1like3CommentsReport of Data Insight Users
Hi, Apology this question is related to internal tables rather than DQL, but hopefully someone on here may be able to help. I need to create an automated report or script that captures a list of the Data Insight users and their respective roles to enable regular reviews of who has access to the data insight console. We currently have a manual process using the GUI, but need to move to an unattended solution that captures this information, merges it with other records and submits the final report to an access management system where access to the Data insight console is reviewed and if necessary revoked. Data Insight config.db has a table called “matrixuser” which contains details of the user accounts such as thier login and domain names, and a table called “role” which contains details of all the roles that are available in Data Insight --- but I can’t find anything that shows which users have been assigned to which roles. Does anyone know how or where to find this Kind regards Phil.Solved2.9KViews1like5CommentsData Insight - looking for best way to get aged data
Currenty running 4.5 Data Insight, and looking for some thoughts on how to report on old data. I've been using the 'Data Aging' report, and our org needs data broken down by 1 year, 3 years, 5 years, and 7 years. Regardless of how I set the interval/bucket, it seems to keep the report at 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, 9-12 months, and older than 12. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding how to use this particular report, but I was hoping for an easy-mode report on what data falls into those intervals. thoughts?2.6KViews3likes5CommentsDQL report problem
I am attempting to create a Sensitive files with violated policies report from the template. I have uploaded a .csv with the policies named, however when the report run and I look at the output, no policy is listed. I have included the script, any suggestions? FROM path GET device.name, msu.name, absname, activity_count, dlp_policies IF issensitive=1 AND path.msu.name = "xxx" path.msu.name = "yyy" path.msu.name = "zzz" FORMAT dlp_policies AS CSV;Solved2.1KViews2likes10CommentsListing contents of folder counts as READ for all files
When user lists contens of some folder, Data Insight generates READ event for all files in that folder. Is it normal? Maybe there is any way to fix it? Because it's not very informative, for example, if we have data owner policy whoch counts read+write events, and some user frequently opens shared folder, he becomes Inferred owner of all files in that folder, not only those he uses.Solved1.9KViews0likes4CommentsConfiguration parameters dump
Hi, I'm trying to find a way to dump all of the configuration settings into a single file or report and was wondering if anyone out there can share information on how this might be possible. I'm new to DQL so was hoping that some of you gurus out there have a query that dumps the entire config. Regards1.7KViews0likes1Comment
