OST archiving in Enterprise Vault like a PST Migration...is it even possible? I know the PST tasks will only locate ".PST" files. Does Evault allow a way to archive OST files similar to PST files so the items within it can be searchable using Discovery Accelerator? I've archived the OST file using FSA, but finding the items within it in DA and trying to open it is not allowed. Any workaround when dealing with OST??? Thanks for the help! Hi everyone, I am currently using NetBackup 11. Recently, I have a task to backup 1 Openshift system and 1 Openstack system. However, I barely works with Openstack and Openshift, and I don't know where to start. I need to configure these sections on NetBackup as soon as possible. Can anyone give me some advices about where to start please ? For example: What kind information I have to get from the Openshift and Openstack team to get this done ? Do I need to set up on both side (NetBackup and the Openshift/Openstack side) or just NetBackup side ?70Views0likes4CommentsSAP HANA DB Backups
Hi We are in phase of setting up SAP Hana SPS10 backups from Netbackup. Clients are on RHEL 6.5, NBU 7.6.0.3 I have read somewhere only NBU versions >= 7.6.1.2 SUpports FUll, INcr, Differential Incr backups of Hana DB. Does any NBU version prior to 7.6.0.3 has this capability? As per NBU SAP guide for version 7.6 "For this release, data backup and restore are initiated from the SAP HANA studio and not from NetBackup Administration Console. You can run backups using the SQL commands. You can also use Cron to schedule the backups." DOes it Mean no SAP HANA backup can be schduled from NetBackup Admin console ? How can we define no. Having a heck of a time trying to figure this out. 14 of my 21 VMware policies are failing with a status code 200 for some reason. Credentials are good and we can do a test query with no issues. Windows 2012 VMware Backup Host 5.5 Update 2 7.6.0.2 and I verified the VDDK is 5.5.0 I have attached all of the logs that would actually run. I cranked VXMS up to 5, but no log was created as I am guessing it just doesnt get that far into the process. I launch 'bpbackup' command in my program and it just gives the return code. There is no way to know the corresponding JobId. Before I launch the next backup, I want to check the status of the Previous backup and make some decision. 'bpimagelist' command can be used with 'keyword' as filter so that I can search my backup job uniquely. Problem is, it only lists the Successful backups. 'bpdbjobs' command can be used to list out all jobs (successful, failed, in progress) but there is no way to uniquely find the backup job because it does not support filtering the result with 'keyword' attribute. Also Want to filter the status of individual client what I still not able to get using bpdbjobs. Any help is highly appreciated.
