Attempting to Restore a Message from my own Mailbox:
Job ended: Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 2:31:12 PM Completed status: Failed Final error: 0xe0000388 - Cannot log on to EWS with the specified credentials. Review the resource credentials for the job, and then run the job again. Final error category: Resource Errors For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-57344-904
System Login Account Credentials for both Backup and Restore have been Tested as Success and is an Active Directory account with Domain Admin rights. LogOnAs on the BE Services has been changed from Domain\User format to user@domain.com.
The only article found here is from a user who said they resolved the issue by installing ExchangeMapiCDO ver.121, but then I'm reading BE 2012 doesn't use that.
HELP!
Wade,
Im sure that you have already checked but please verify that the logon account has an active exchange mailbox. Verify this by sending a message to it and the replying to the message from it. Additionally please verify that the mailbox is unique by opening up a new message, typing the first four letter s of the logon account and pressing ctrl + K and confirming that it resolves. Also verify that the mailbox is not hidden from the G.A.L. All this being correct enable EWS logging in windows and try to run the restore job again so that we can pinpoint the EWS fail cause.
