Backing up SQL Server Cluster.

  • Hi,

You would install the RAWS agent (Remote Agent for Windows) on each node, and once done, the virtual node should show up. Once this does, you would select the virtual node instead of the physical nodes which means the active node would always be backed up.

Have you done it like this? The BE 2012 Admin Guide has a section on backing up clusters which you might also want to look at.

    Thanks!
