Backup Exec License Assessment Tool

Question

I have run this tool. It is telling me that Remote Agent for Windows and NetWare Servers is using 4 licenses. We only have a total of 5 servers. 2 of which do not need to be backed up through ackup Exec. One of the 2 that don't need to be backed up has a Remote Agent on it. Backup Exec has only had components installed on 4 servers. My main question: why would it say that 4 licenses are used, when only 3 of the servers actually have a remote agent installed? Does the installer automatically install a remote agent when you install the media server?

License Assesment tool might not function properly once you have installed any license.

Vijay, is this the license assessment tool available from the menu of the backup exec main window? It would seem to me that if something might not function properly after installing something that it should be disabled.

Under the Tools menu in the Backup Exec program is an item titled: Backup Exec License Assessment Tool... It's right below LiveUpdate... and above Add Symantec Protection Network...
