Backup exec on premises and cloud service

HI,

 

Please help me with the comparision between bakcup exec on premises and backup exec coud services.

I would like to know the benefits of backup exec solution on premises.

    Here are some of the Benifits of having backup exec on Premises.

    1. The Full backups would be faster compare to the cloud backup heance it is not time consuming and reduces the impact on the production system.

    2. As the backup would use the LAN , there would not be any size limitation as most of the organization have threshold for a capacity of data that can be transfered daily to cloud.

    3. You have controll on all the systems/data and all the co-orporate data is handled internally.

    I beleive Symantec does not offere Backup exec .cloud any more and has been discontinude
