Errors seen when starting NB services?

Is this a new installation on a new Master server or new Media server?
Which O/S? If W2003 or 2008 - 32 or 64-bit?
If W2008 32-bit, Device config will fail - media server is only supported on 64-bit W2008.
Device Manager can only start after devices have been added.
What license keys are installed on the server? You need a Server  license key as well robotic drive license key. If drives will be shared, you need SSO as well.
To be able to add devices, Private Branch Exchange, Volume Manager and Client service must be running.

Check the Windows Event Viewer - Application and System Logs !

Very often the solution to a problem is re-installing or upgrading NetBackup.
I am not sure why someone gigged you with negative points.
Please don't be discouraged by someone not understanding and giving you negative votes.
Please come back in the future as your need for fellow users help and advise exists.

One thing I learned from NetBackup forums is that there always is another way :-)
