Errors seen when starting NB services?
Any other errors or logs you can share? - MarianneLevel 6Is this a new installation on a new Master server or new Media server?
Which O/S? If W2003 or 2008 - 32 or 64-bit?
If W2008 32-bit, Device config will fail - media server is only supported on 64-bit W2008.
Device Manager can only start after devices have been added.
What license keys are installed on the server? You need a Server license key as well robotic drive license key. If drives will be shared, you need SSO as well.

Very often the solution to a problem is re-installing or upgrading NetBackup.
I am not sure why someone gigged you with negative points.
Please don't be discouraged by someone not understanding and giving you negative votes.

but I can see where some might have "gigged" the solution as it suggests the only answer is to upgrade. Surely there is a another way.
