Backup exec storage media keeps reverting to read only

HI

I am running backup exec 2012 on server 2008 r2 and the media keeps reverting back to read only.

I am using 10 usb drives for a two week cycle.

Help.

    Check the Storage Settings

    1) Click Backup Exec button (yellow circle top left in admin console) --> Configuration aand Settings --> Backup Exec settings

    2) Select Storage section

    3) In Disk Devices box, change the "Limit Backup Exec to read-only operations on disk-based storage if it has been detached for at least 14 days"

    Note (Edited from initial answer): There is a problem with this. We have a defect where detached USB disks will not reclaim (overwrite is actually a delete and create new operation) and the temporary workaround is to deliberately make USB disks go Read-Only and then bring them to Read-Write when you connect them
