Backup job reports successful but does not backup data - Win2k3 SBS, 11d

Hi,

A newly installed server has been loaded with Windows 2003 SBS and has Backup Exec 11d installed on it. I have tried creating both backup to disk jobs and backup to tape jobs and each jobs reports about 4kb of data being backed up. The selected data is in the 20-30gb range so 4kb is defintely incorrect.

 

I have tried;

 

 - Removing Backup Exec 11d, Rebooting & Reloading Backup Exec 11d

 - Resetting permissions on folders, even though Administrator already has full access.

 

I have read through the forums and have found a few other people who had the same problem. None of them have had a resolution. One of them said "I reloaded the server with Windows and havn't had a problem since", well this is an SBS server and it is not a possibility to just reload the server.

 

Any input/feedback would be much appreciated.
