BE2012 Media server self backup complaining about non-existent directory (again)

    MP00 are mount points created by BE when you run VMware backups. Ideally, these are temporary data which should be cleared once the VMs are backed up.

    In your case, it could be a possibility that the local media server backup and the VMware's backup schedules coincides or overlaps causing the first backup to fail on these directories.

Thanks, that explains it. The self backup job of my media server is scheduled well separated from the other servers' jobs, but the failing run had been horribly delayed by the issue described in https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/all-jobs-blocked-one-job-waiting-tape and thereby ended up actually running in parallel to the next round of VMware backups.
