Can BE back up Linux Hyper-V guest virtual machines (VMs) through Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS), avoiding the need to stop the VMs?

If you guest linux OS is part of this backup exec will be able to backup the VHD that is virtual machines without affecting your guest machine ,so it will query VSS on Hyperv Host to take backup of VHD.so no need to stop VM

In this case please note GRT backup of Guest machine for linux is not supported
