client side dedup not working either way...

followed this kb (http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH77683&actp=search&viewlocale=en_US&searchid=1316850142217) but NO solution...tried on NEW and CLEAN win2k8 r2 upda...

    In BE console browse the devices tab, do you see the dedup folder under the remote server name.

FQDN works fine, when using client side dedup you can add only remote server in the selection list
