E-mail alert fail

In veritas backup exec 9.0, email alert (MAPI configuration) has been setup to send the email alert with the job log. But it doesn't work. I tested the email alrert, it gives an outlook error message with a progress bar. Alert doesn't recieve. What is the reason for this ?

This is due to the security settings of outlook. With defauls settings, outlook need the user to respond when a third party is trying to send an email through outlook. If the user doesn't respoce, out won't allow that action. What you can do is, default outlook security settings can be changed through a registry edition.
