    Thanks for all replys. but i have the problem fixed.

    The Agent was installed without AOFO components ....

    i reinstalled the agent with aofo options ... and now runs the tape backup without failure ;)

This issue is mostly caused when the backup exec account does not have proper rights and permission on the exchange server . Make sure the mailbox for backup account is not hidden .
