Error: The I/O bus was reset

I have a server that runs the backup just fine most nights. It seems I receive Final Error Code:00000457 HEX- Final Error Description: The I/O bus was reset
at least one night a week. It runs fine five out of the six nights.

    Generally, this error occurs due to SCSI configuration, SCSI timeout or Hardware related issue.

    Install latest veritas drivers: http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/261555.htm

    Update the SCSI Controller Driver and firmware

    Check the Windows NT/2000 System and Application Event Logs for warnings/errors. Event ID 7, 9, 11, & 15 in the System Event Log.
