Final error: 0xe00084af on any job

Hello -

I have read many many posts with the error message -

Final error: 0xe00084af - The directory or file was not found, or could not be accessed.
Final error category: Job Errors

I have Backup Exec 10.0 Rev. 5484 SP6 installed locally on a SBS2003 machine with Exchange, SQL 2000, WSUS 3.0 installed.  I have seen this error for at least the last month.  Prior to that, most jobs completed successfully.

The VSS Admin List Writers tell me that everything is ok with VSS.  I have also disabled AFO with no success to the backup job.  Additionally, I followed the article to change the registry entry from 1 to 0 for the exchange writer.

The wierd thing, is that I have created a new backup job that I have checked just one directory that has a couple files in it.  The same failure happens whether I choose a file or exchange mailbox or sql database.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
