Invalid Physical Volume Library Argument

Hey,

I have been receiving the following errror message, this is causing the whole backup to fail.

Storage device "HP 1" reported an error on a request to query entity information.

Error reported:
Invalid Physical Volume Library Argument.

V-79-57344-34036 - An unknown error has occurred.


Does anyone have any ideas about this one?

    Hello,

    Please check whether the device is "tested" by backup Exec with the help of the list below:

    If yes then please install latest veritas drivers.

    Backup Exec 10.0 for Windows Servers robotic library Hardware Compatibility List (HCL)

    Latest veritas drivers:

    VERITAS Backup Exec (tm) 10.0.5520 - Device Driver Installer (20050815) - Includes Tape Driver Release (20050115) and Robotic Library Release (47) (Intel Only)

    If the device is not tested in the hardware compatibility list then please install the latest OEM drivers.
