inventory never completes; stuck in queued state
I am trying to inventory some media on a new BE server that was created by a BE server that no longer exists. The media is on disk not on a tape drive. Inventory job is stuck in "queued" state indefinitely. When I cancel it gets stuck in "cancel pending" indefinitely. Tried many times after reboot, restarting services, etc. I know the "Back up to disk folder" I am trying to inventory is accessable because I can write new backups and restore from it fine. I just can't inventory and catalog what is already there.
Do ensure, "Hold Job Queue" option is unchecked on the Job Monitor page on extreme left side...
And, did you attempt the steps as listed in this KB - http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH126625 ?
