Just to let you know we can reproduce this behavior in Ubuntu and are currently investigating it.
I will update this post once I have more information in regards timeline of a possible fix.

Could we ask you to test / confirm the following two suggestion :
1. Run the following command:
umount gvfsd-fuse
Be warned that after running this command the UI will not be accessible.
2. Follow the steps as described in this article:
