Online capacity problem - backup failing with Final error: 0xe0008703
Hi,
Trying to perform a backup and the test runs keep failing with final error: 0xe0008703. When the job runs in non test mode (overnight) it fails with a timeout and the only thing that appear...
- Erasing the tape appears to have solved the test run issue. Also I found this : http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/263679.htm
Strikes me that we need
a) Improved error reporting and
b) An option to erase/initialise a backup target
Anyway - will mark as solved and this as the solution if the backup runs without incident tonight.
