Performing Disaster recovery on linux machine
Hi all,
How can I perform disaster recovery on linux operating system?
Since SDR only supported for windows OS.
What I want to do is to completely restore the whole machine when the machine failed to boot up.
Is this possible? I'm using backup exec 2012 by the way.
Reply will be appreciated, thank you!
Yes. Backup Exec does not protect the complete Linux Operating System. It just protects the files and folders (directories) on the volumes.
So you will have to re-install the Linux OS and then restore the Linux volumes that are backed up.
Thanks,
