Remote Agent for Netware issues

I have a couple of issues with version 10 while backing up a netware server.
I was having issues before we migrated it to a new server on a SAN. Thought it might get better but it got worse.

Little background
I was getting error messages so I upgraded to SP3 and attempted to push the remote agent to my netware server. I got conflicting messages about success. One screen said success the next said it was interupted. The logs on the netware server said success.
I proceeded to do a backup but still got errors, so I then did the manual install. Made sure the NLM's were running.

Errors
I get this warning at the top of each volume being backed up.
WARNING: Media servers cannot completely protect remote
Windows-based servers or workstations unless the Backup
Exec Remote Agent is installed
and running on each remote Windows-based server or
workstation to be protected. Data loss can occur if the
Remote Agent is not running
while backing up remote Windows-based computers.

Please refer to the documentation or online help for more information.
Unable to initialize Remote Agent

Q1 Why is this talking about Windows server? The job is for a windows server.
Q2 How do I resolve this unable to initialize remote agent.
Q3 Why are my backups are taking 3 times longer for this netware server then a windows server that has more data on it?

I have started a backup and then went into netware and unloaded the NLM's. Apparently they are not being used because the job just continued along.

Lastly I am getting warnings such as
WARNING: "\\WP_DAL\_ADMIN\CONTROL\VolumeCreate.adm" is a corrupt file.
This file cannot verify.
WARNING: "\\WP_DAL\_ADMIN\CONTROL\VolumeRename.adm" is a corrupt file.
This file cannot verify.

These occur while it is backing up the _admin directory or system type volume.

I am really at a lost to what else try. I see alot of issue with remote agents but none that seem close to my issues.
