SDR over internet

Hello experts!

Is it possible to perform SDR recovery over internet?

I've set port forwarding on the router according to this article
https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100017208 to internal BackupExec server. All ports, but dynamic range.
When booting to SDR and entering External IP, it won't find a server.

So, is this something with port access, or its not possible at all?

    A Control connection is always established bi-directionally on TCP Port 10000 between the media server and remote machine. 

     

    You can check firewall log to see which port is being blocked.
