SDR to restore Backup Exec server
Hi, our Backup Exec server is BE 2014 SP1 on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Standard. We use SDR to restore all the clients and it works fine so far. My question is:
Is it possible to restore Backup Exec server by using SDR? If yes, any best practice or notes that we need to follow? Thanks in advance.

- SDR can definitely be used to recover the media server. In fact, it is the recommended method. Make sure you have a copy of the latest .dr file handy. You will need it especially if you are using tape. Save it onto a thumbdrive
