    ah, site alias. I could not find anything in the KB's relating to that. I believe you cannot change the site-alias 'officially', but it might be possible in SQL.

    However, can you not create the new DNS Alias that points to the original alias?

Hi,

The url is built dynamically from the ComputerName in the ComputerEntry table and the DevaultWebAppURL value (/EnterpriseVault) in the SiteEntry table.  There would be a few steps to ensuring the change is done properly, which would involve changing the ComputerName.

    Hi,

    we created a new Site Alias in DNS pointing to the First Server in the installation.

    Now we are able to open "archival.companyname.com/enterprisevault".
