EV2007 SP5 update

In our environment, the DBAs have the SQL servers locked down and are very strict when it comes to application permissions. Can someone tell me if installing SP5 for an existing EV 2007 SP4 installation requires the Vault Service account to have SA rights?

    Hi Andrew,


    You will need db_creator to install and configure Enterprise Vault. Once Enterprise Vault is installed you can then remove the db_creator role.

    Hi I don't think EV needs any additional rights to what it (should) have when you are running it. Cheers Michel
