remove items from vault

I have been testing version 7sp1 prior to going production.  I vaulted way too many items in my file system archiving test, and would like to remove them from storage.  What's the easiest, and cleanest way to do this?

    If you dont need to restore the original items from the vault I would just delete the vault store and make sure the SQL database is removed from sql as well (may need to restart the sql instance).  All of this provided only FSA items that you dont need are in the vault store.  If you have other items in the vault store that you need to retain..........well I don't know then.

    How many items are we talking about, if its only a few, you can use Archive Explorer to delete the actual items, If you used a "test" vault store, just delete the store, or go to the archives section in the vault console (which shows all your Archive points) and right click/delete the archive (as long as your test items are not in the same AP as your "live" ones)
