Searching Journal Mailbox

Will try and explain this one

When we goto search the journal mailbox there is a extra pull down

look for :
In Vault : Journal
Archived :  which is split into 3 month chunks

how to i get that to be just one vault for everything instead of 3 month chunks

    Thats a Index Roll Over.

    Simple you dont :)  You could consider DA or CA

    CA/DA would be the best way to go as you will be searching a lot of data, but you could use the webapp.ini setting UseFederatedSearch to change the search page behaviour. Note that this setting is global though and can lead to a performance hit when searching large archives

    Yes But isn't there a way to alter the amount in the index before it rolls over?

    I know on a 2nd customer install which is archiving as much if not more each day it's not doing it

    both running ev8 sp3

    Found my own answer i set AVSMaxLoc on one but not the other
