Upgrade From EV 2007 SP2 To EV 8.0 SP5
I would like to know if I can upgrade from EV 2007 SP2 to EV 8.0 SP5 directly.
If you're going to EV8 SP5 you might as well just go to EV9 SP4, that way you can easily go to EV10 when you need to , and be ready for Exchange 2010 at the same time... plus hotfixes and service packs will be less likely to be released for EV8 from this point onward.
If i were you would do the following
1. Upgrade DA2007 SP2 -> DA 2007 SP6
2. Upgrade EV2007 SP2 -> EV 8 SP5
3. Upgrade EV8 SP5 -> EV9 SP4
4. Upgrade DA2007 SP6 -> DA9 SP4
