What happened to the "Items archived by Enterprise Vault" when I export my Outlook PST ?
Hi Everyone,
Can anyone please let me know what happened if I do export all of my mailbox from Outlook 2007 into PST ?
Does that items gets pulled/downloaded from the EV server or i must do somet...
If you are exporting from Outlook all you will get is the shortcuts, if that.
If you want the archived items you need to export to PST from the EV Server.
Starting the export with the Export Archive wizard
When you are ready to export archived items to PST files or mailboxes, follow the instructions below to start the Export Archive wizard.
To start the export
- In the left-hand pane of the Administration Console, right-click the Archives icon.
- On the shortcut menu, click Export.
- Work through the Export Archive wizard to complete the export.
