NetBackup Appliance 5.1.1 Maintenance Release 4 is now available

NetBackup Appliance 5.1.1 Maintenance Release 4 can now be downloaded from the following link:

5.1.1 (including MRs) uses RHEL 8.6, whose support, by Red Hat, ends on May 31, 2024. 5.1.1 MR4 includes fixes that were provided by Red Hat in late March. Any additional fixes through end of support of RHEL 8.6, that Red Hat provides, will be included in the final MR (5.1.1 MR5), which is tentatively scheduled for August 2024.

 

It is strongly recommended that all 5.1.1 (including MRs) customers plan to upgrade to 5.3.0.1 MR1(available now) or 5.3.0.1 MR2 (scheduled for late June), which uses RHEL 8.8. If this is not possible, then it is strongly recommended that all 5.1.1 (including MRs) customers install 5.1.1 MR4 as soon as possible.
