- So, then there is very little to do. Install NBU on servers in new environment and configure devices. Use Host Properties on old master to add SERVER entries on all clients for new master and media servers. Test comms between new servers and clients : test port connectivity as well as forward and reverse name lookup. Create policies for clients and test backups. If all is fine, use Host Properties on new master to select new master in Server tab and click on Make Master. If you have Db clients such as Oracle and/or SQL, update Master name in backup scripts.
