changing master server ip address
hi there,
after the changing ip address of netbackup master server, the netbackup event manager service not started until the change this ip to old one.
are there anyone have an any idea, can l update any other thing after the changing ip address ?
You need to stop all netbackup services when chaining IP.
Also you need to ensure:
- DNS cache is flushed (Window and Linux)
- Host files are updated (if any).
- DNS change is fully replicated
- Server name remain the same
Inspect Event log or syslog/messages log for clues of why the event manager service doesn't start.
