COBRAEXCEPTION - UNABLE TO CONNECT EMM SERVER

Hello Team,

We have a master server under 6.5.6 with solaris 10version

Media servers 6.5.6 with solaris 10 version

 

While trying to configure the Drives from netbackup GUI i'm getting error stating

COBRA EXCEPTION - UNBALE TO CONNECT EMM SERVER

can any one please me on this ASAP

Alreday we have lost twodays backups

We are under process of new plaform upgradation and netbackup 7X

    If this is an old environment that has worked fine up to now, why are you trying to config devices? Have you checked forward and reverse lookup in all directions? Have you checked port connectivity? Have you checked processes running on master and media servers? Have you checked disk space on the master? NBU will stop nbemm if filesystem where NBU is installed is running out of space.

    What does this command show:

    # nbemmcmd -errorsdb
