delete backupset rman
Hi,
If I use the rman command "delete backupset", I'll remove my backups in netbackup catalog too, or are they still available?

Yes, but you will have to use rman to 'tell' NBU to expire obsolete backups.

This method is to set the backup retention as an RMAN attribute, rather than a NetBackup attribute, and then have RMAN delete obsolete backups from NetBackup.
