    Glad to hear that altreadhost option worked! 
    Unfortunately no option to specify/select that option in the GUI. 

    You may want to list images that you want to duplicate and create a couple of 'bidfiles' - each with a list of images (5 - 10, so that you can run 2-3 simultaneously, depending on available resources).

    Your bpduplicate should be something like this: 

    bpduplicate -altreadhost <MediaY> -dstunit <MediaY-STU>  -L <logfile> -Bidfile <file_name>

    As per the post referenced above - please remember to make copies of 'bidfiles'!

Did you use bpduplicate from cmd with -altreadhost option to force the read task to media server Y?

Please ensure that you have these log folders on the master and media server:
Master: admin 
Media Y:  bpbrm, bptm, bpdm  (all at level 3)

Tanq Marianne , I used bpduplicate whith -altreadhost for a small image that failed before and duplicate was successful. now I need to run it for a large image, I can't find any switch for run it in background, should I use any os related solution like screen? there is no way to use altreadhost from GUI?
