what exactly is frozen image. I googled it but all the answers I got were just the same copy. Somebody do tell me what exactly it means.

Frozen Image is normally associated with snapshot.
So, add the word 'snapshot' to your Google search.
If you see frozen media(tape), it may be due to write errors on the media or tape drive. You can manually freeze media(tape) if you do not want it to be written to or images exipre on it. I also believe there is a feature "somewhere"....maybe in opscenter....that will let you freeze images on disk so they will not expire. I think it's for audit or compliance stuff. I have never frozen an image myself so I am not sure where or how to do it. Hopefully someone that has more experience with it will comment.
