Including database name in SQL Server backup reports

I have a report that details the status of each of our NetBackup SQL Server jobs. The resultant report gives a lot of useful info, but does not include a database name. This isn't a problem on most servers, but we have some that host a number of databases and it would be nice to be able to see that a particular DB definately backed up OK.

Can the standard Policy Summary Dashboard report be changed to include database name?

Thanks

  • If you are on NetBackup 7.1 onwards. Use OpsCenter Analytics (OCA) to create Custom report, add Backup selection as one of field which would give you database name as well

PS: Database name format would remain same as it is shown in Activity monitor i.e. db name.date.etc

For OAC you would require analytics license to be purchased
