job status shows "incomplete"

1. When jobs are running the job status shows incomplete with status code 59, 24, .... After that I was resumed that jobs but some jobs are running fine but some jobs are again goes to incomplete status. what is the reason.. ?

    By looking at information in Details tab and troubleshooting the status code.

    If your issue is with status 24, go through recent posts in this forum. There was a post a couple of days ago.
    Symantec employee mph999 has listed a lot of possible causes for status 24.

    Again - your issue should not be with Incomplete status. Troubleshoot the status code causing the failure.

    Please bear in mind that in most cases (like status 24) NBU is merely REPORTING the error, not CAUSING it.

    The reason is that you have selected 'take checkpoint every xx minutes' in the policy. Meaning that job can be restarted.

    You need to troubleshoot the status codes. To resume a status 59 will not help. Fix the problem first (add Server entry on client), then restart.

    Status 24 could possibly mean that some data has already been backed up before it failed. Resume will make it start again from previous checkpoint and you MAY have a chance that th backup will complete.

    Do not be concerned about Incomplete state - look at the errors and status codes.
    Be concerned about that - troubleshoot and fix.

    But  the incomplete jobs are failed after some time... how I can troubleshoot ?
