Lost Media reports

Hello,

IS there a way that i can pull lost media report from CLI and generate list of tapes to Excel sheet..

And i need to create a script which will send these excel report to our DC Team?

any suggestions or ideas is helpful..

    ok it worked in this way.

     

    Option V) to generate individual reports

    And then it opens another CLI interface and then select lm) lost media

    As soon as you enter lm, it will prompt for how many days, generally 2 days is enough to pull the report for tape ops.

     

    enter 2

     

    but before doing it ensure an email address is entered for which reports has sent to.

     From the CLI, you can use vltopmenu to generate the report you need.

    You can also do this in the admin console by doing the following then copying the output to excel.

    Reports->Vault Reports->Lost Media

      i) Inject Media into Robot ce) Consolidate All Ejects
      e) Eject Media for This Session re) Consolidate All Reports and Ejects

      c) Container Management...

      q) Quit

       

      Also My vision is to automate this pulling report manually from GUI, so that if required i can run a script which will send reports to my DC team..
