media write error (84) in VMWare Backup.

I have the VMware Backups are getting failed with error media write error (84), we are using netbackup 7.6.1.2 on windows 2008 R2 Enterprise 64 bit Platform. Error occurred during refresh ...

    After restarting the Dell bay and repair
    Removed the DiskPool and configure it again
    Backup test is conclusive

Status code 84 is too generic and the true root cause could be due one or more of many different external non-NetBackup aspects.

My advice is that you do some research, some reading, and some digging... and then when you have something more detailed come back.
