HI ALL,

YES! As we told you many times before..............
may i know why and what is your requirement to view those..?
do you have an issue ?
I suspect you want to list the files in your backup images. If so this would be bplist.
I need to know.Bplist uses .f files in catalog.
Which all commmands use image header files.??
Use bpimagelist to report on header info.
bpimagelist -backupid <backup_id> -L
You have asked this question previously:
https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/veritasnetbackupdbimages
https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/header-files
https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/tape-media-header
so bpimagelist is the command which uses header files in catalog?
YES! As we told you many times before..............
@Marianne:bpmedia list, bpimmedia also uses image catalog?
bpmedialist takes information from media catalog.
Martin told you in this post: https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/what-exactly-difference-between-media-and-volumebpmedialist-and-vmquery-command
and in this post: https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/netbackup-catalog
bpimmedia reports from image catalog.
This information can be found easily in the Commands manual.
See this extract:
bpimmedia queries the NetBackup image catalog .......
Thanks Marainne for the reply.
You never told us WHY you wanted to do this. Did you "just wanna know?"
