NBU status: 830, EMM status: No drives are available

We are using Symantec Netbackup 7.0.1(Operating System: Redhat Linux 5.5) with Dell PV LT0 3-060 Robotic Tape Drive .

We are getting Error Message : nbu status: 830, emm status: all compatible drive paths are down, but media is available.

I have loaded new LTO tapes into tape drive for backup purposes and also restarted the Master Server to make sure the Linux Server identify the tape drive during boot process.

Following resolution steps were also carried out

1. <install_path>\Veritas\NetBackup\bin\admincmd>nbrbutil -resetAll
2. <install_path>\Veritas\NetBackup\bin\admincmd>nbemmcmd -deletealldevices -machinename <server_name> -machinetype media
3. Reconfigure NBU devices as normal using the device configuration wizard.

But still the same error persists.

Have you tried
unload d1
in robtest?
The tape drive needs to unload the tape before it can be moved.
If unload gives an error, there is a problem and you need to contact your tape support team.

If it unloads fine, where will you move it to?
All the slots are full.

PS:
Is there any way that you can post text instead of pictures?

You need to 'up' ythe drives, then run a job to see why they are going down.
I'd create the /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/bptm log and put VERBOSE = 5 in /usr/openv/netbackup/bp.conf
I would then add VERBOSE to /usr/openv/volmgr/vm.conf
Create empty files called :
/usr/openv/volmgr/DRIVE_DEBUG and ROBOT_DEBUG
Create dir /usr/openv/volmgr/debug/robots and /usr/openv/volmgr/debug/tpcommand
Restart ltid
/usr/openv/volmgr/bin/stopltid, then to restart /usr/openv/olmgr/bin/ltid -v
Also, test using robtest to see if when a drive is placed in the drive , it shows up in vmopcmd output

  I have collected some logs .
  The drive always show as DOWN-TLD , I tried to UP it , but still the same issue.

    Have you checked and confirmed that all tape drives are visible and accessible at OS level?
    Please show us output of /usr/openv/volmgr/bin/scan
    
    If you have more than one media server, check on all of them.
    
    Please also check /var/log/messages for device-related errors.
    
    PS:
    Have you added VERBOSE entry to vm.conf and restarted ltid?
    Do this on all media servers to increase logging of device errors to OS system logs.
