Yes, NetBackup comes with a GUI. It has done so since version 3.4 (probably even before then but I never saw it).
- So, you posted a subject but no explanation, question, query. You did not select any OS. Care to explain what it is you are looking for? On the master of which OS? On your desktop with which OS?
- Oh!!! I was posting from my mobile and the now I found the post was never saved... We have installed the Netbackup mentioned version in windows 2012 server..the server is also acting as the master and media server.. however whean i installed the gui in that server..it is not working... Does Netbackup 7.6.0.4 gui works when i install it in the same master server??
NetBackup 7.6 on Windows comes with built-in Administration Console. No need to install anything else (unless you REALLY want to use the Java GUI).
Look for 'NetBackup Administration Console' under installed programs. Remember to 'run as administrator' or else switch UAC off.
Ellaborate on "however whean i installed the gui in that server..it is not working..."
- Its not displaying at all
- Its not not display correctly
- Can't connect?

After updating the auth.conf also, when I try to login to the NB GUI. I can only see Backup Archive and restore.
- Try run as administrator, or disable UAC? Does that help?

Why are you using Java Console?
Why not use built-in Windows Admin Console that comes with the Server installation?
