restore from command line

 

 
C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\bin>bprestore.exe -B  -L  /E/tmp/restore3.log
 -C dell-pc  -D dell-pc   -t 13 -s 12/16/2012 -e 12/16/2012  -R /C/Temp/Backup
-f /C/Temp/filelist.txt
The rename file C:\Temp\Backup is not accessible.
EXIT STATUS 144: invalid command usage
 
I am geting the Above error.
 
Master server:dell-pc
Client:dell -pc
 
 
Please let me know what all logs are required?

    screen shot can not show the blank lines i believe

    i just tested in my desktop, hitting enter is creating a blank line..which you need to remove.

    so 

    1)delete the file Rename_list.txt.

    2)create it again

    3)put the line

    change /D/Netbackup to /E/Netbackup

    4)don' t hit Enter.

    save it. and try restore.

    hi .

    -R is for the rename list..

    so your command should be like 

     

    C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\bin>bprestore.exe -B  -L  /E/tmp/restore3.log
     -C dell-pc  -D dell-pc   -t 13 -s 12/16/2012 -e 12/16/2012  -R /C/Temp/Rename_list.txt
    -f /C/Temp/filelist.txt
     
    and keep  C/Temp/Backup  in file  /C/Temp/Rename_list.txt.
     
     so when you open the file /C/Temp/Rename_list.txt. entires should be like below.
    chage <souce filename> to <destination name>

    Still getting the same error.

    so did you create the file C:\Temp\Rename_list.txt  ? (should be on the server from where you are running the command bprestore)

    and what did you keep in this file?

    could you share the screenshot of it?

    remove another .txt at the end of the file 

    Rename_list.txt.txt ---->Rename_list.txt

    even for filelist.txt.txt --->filelist.txt

    and inside of the file it should be like below.

    change /D/Netbackup to  /E/Netbackup

    No error in command this time.But job fails with error 5
