Scheduled backups not starting

Hello all! Can you help me with autostart policy. I tried restarting services but nothing change

  • please give us more details.
you have problem with one, more than one or all policies?
was the policy that is not running now, run and failed in the last 12 hours?

you can check the reports-> all log entries for clues why a policy is not running.

You can also run the commands and check the output

    nbpemreq -predict_all -date <mm/dd/yyyy HH:MM:SS>
    nbpemreq -due -date <mm/dd/yyyy HH:MM:SS>

Thank you very much! Viewing the logs helped identify the problem. The problem was with backup repository

  • frequency or calendar?
try to create a new, simple VMware policy with one client.
Do not copy an existing policy.
Select the client, do not use filter.
Create one Full schedule with frequency option. Open the window to cover the current time.

    Do not change anything else.

What for ten minutes and check if the policy has run or not.

  • Hello,

another cause could be a previous backup failure. If a policy job run fails 2 times, it is not attempted for next 12 hours. See Global Attributes in Master Server Host Properties.

    Regards
