Solaris 10 takes too long to shutdown - vmd daemon failed to stop

Hello,  I realized that recently two  solaris 10 servers are taking too long to shutdown. These servers have the NetBackup client installed, version 7.5.0.5. I didn't think that a NetBackup process...

    Volume Manager Daemon (vmd) is not installed on NetBackup Client, only Media Servers.  Perhaps an uninstall and reinstall of NetBackup on the client is needed.  Or do these Clients act as Media Servers too?
