Please create bpcd log directory on the client.
Try another backup and use bpcd log to troubleshoot:
You will see the server's incoming connection request represented by the server's IP address.
The client now needs to resolve the IP address to a hostname. This hostname is then compared with SERVER entries in the client's bp.conf. If the hostname does not match a valid server entry, the connection request will be rejected.
Update /etc/hosts and/or SERVER entries based on findings in bpcd client.
