System state backup failing - error 50

I also faced the same error with system state backup  earlier. When I checked the bpbkar  at verbose 5, we foud that there was an issue with the registry entry

one of the application path in registry  was set with forward slash as below:

E:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1/opmn/bin/opmn.exe -S -I E:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1

The service path contains a forward slash. Only paths containing an inverted slash are supported system state backup through netbackup  

Please check in your logs too and you might find any errenous entry.

C drive has 50% space free out of 80 GB.

I am getting the same error code which is mentioned in the link but the error messages are differnent.

my one of the mounted volume is 64 TB and this is the largest one.  "BescLargeDiscBlock " decimal value is 63 on my master server.

can you suggest what should be the value here ?

Why not follow the recommendation in the TN?

Decimal: 100, hex: 64.

Have you increased logging level as per my suggestion on the 15th?

ok..i will do ...currently backups are running. I am waiting for them to complete.

As its a master server system state backup issue , where should I change the logging level  ?

Host properties -> master server ->logging  -> global logging level

or 

host properties  -> client -> master server ->logging  -> global logging level

Any one of those. It will update the same registry entry on the master server.

As per previous advice - remember to drop down logging levels after you have collected logs from partial backup.
This logging level will increase logging for ALL logs on the master.

PS:
Have you checked Windows Event Viewer logs after last error?

Question, have you tried to just run a backup of system_state:\ and then a backup of Shadow Copy Components:\ ?

If both works, you are probably looking at exhaustion issue. Any warnings about Memory, CPU at the time of the backup failure ?
